Hi Everyone! Long time no speak. It's been a couple of weeks since I last updated you all on my Canadian adventures so being the procrastination Queen that I am I have accumulated a couple of photos from my walk around 'The Beaches' area of Toronto. As the name suggests, this area consists of a beautiful stretch of beaches and as everywhere in the city, a lovely view of the cities landmark. It was just after Halloween and walking down to this area meant walking through streets of housing which looked exactly like we were walking within a movie set. The temperature has now significantly dropped here in Toronto and I particularly noticed it on this day but nonetheless I enjoyed a peaceful walk along the beach and through the park.
We then ventured along to the Distillery District to heat up over some food and beer. I tried the Oktoberfest craft beer which was something a little bit different yet it really complemented my meal. I ordered the veggie burger and with low expectations (as always with a usually chick pea stuffed patty) I succeeded to take my first bite and OH MY was it a dream! Literally the most flavourfull veggie burger I have ever consumed. All in all a fantastic little day.
